Vision and Mission
The Spanish Club is an organization where students can remember, commemorate, and celebrate important traditions, dates, events, and national festivities in order to remark true cultural identity .
“Accept and celebrate a hybrid identity without racial divisions” (Nuestra América by José Martí ) Hispanics’ contribution of culture will add diversity and prosperity to the United States. According to José Martí “A country prospers if there is diversity of culture.” Jose Marti is author of Nuestra América, and distinguished personality in the contribution of Cuban independence.
The mission of the Spanish club organization is to remember and commemorate the most significant dates and latched traditions to our Hispanic culture. Therefore, with the intention of developing a national identity to the Hispanic root students who have immigrated or born in the United States, to have an opportunity to know their culture.
The vision of the Spanish club organization is to build a sense of belonging with a national pride in order to share and contribute own culture and traditions into the society in which has been appointed to develop.
